  3. HSC marks are counted aggregate. Min. 50% marks in aggregate are essential for eligibility. Yet higher the marks, higher the chances you have for admission.

  4. A student of FY B.Com can take admission to FY B.Arch. But you have to give up commerce and the year you have spent in B.Com will be wasted. But if you feel that architecture is the right track for you, you will be benefited by changing the track.
Your HSC marks and CET score will be considered for admission.

  8. There are two entrance exams for a 5 year degree course in architecture. One (CET)is conducted by the govt. of Maharashtra which is for admissions to the Govt. owned/aided colleges; and the other (NATA) is conducted by the council of architecture, which is for admissions to the private colleges of architecture in the state.
You first have to prepare for both the exams and apply for both. The application form is available online on their websites. www.dte.org and www.nata .org respectively.

  12. Dear Student,

You need to practice live sketching and drawing that develops your observation.
You are required to observe the following visual aspects and
to increase your ability to sketch them fluently.

    1.Proportions 2.Positions 3.Perspective 4.The 3rd dimension with respect to the Viewing angle.

For this purpose you need to sketch.
    a) Human figures b) Structures c) Vehicles d) Animals.

Remember continuous drawing improves your quality of observation.
Good observation leads to fluent and confident lines in sketching.

Please remember that live sketching and drawing means to draw / sketch with reference
of actual object or human figure etc.and not by reference of a drawing or a sketch
    already drawn by somebody.
When you live sketch something, you are converting a
3 dimentional object into a 2 dimentional one. This visual cum mental activity helps to improve
understanding of third dimension. When you sketch something with reference of a drawing / sketch
already drawn by somebody, this activity doesn't occur. So please avoid that.
